To dye or not to dye.

That was never the question for me. When my dog's natural mohawk sprang to life I knew that come one Halloween I would dye that puppy (no pun intended) to bring out its mohawk glory.

That Halloween is this Halloween. After some debate on the color, I decided on green. I did some searching and found that food coloring is a safe method of hair/fur dying for pets. So I set out to the grocery store and was ECSTATIC to find that they made *neon* food coloring. Score! I paid the $2.79 for the pack of 4 colors and hurried home to try it out.

Since I have a little guy and am only dying his hawk, I decided to not dilute the food coloring and apply it to his dry hair. I squeezed a few drops onto a sponge (I used a new dish washing sponge) and painted it onto the desired location. I let it sit for about 15 minutes - meanwhile distracting my dog with copious treats - before rinsing the excess off with a wet wash cloth. If you get some dye on your hands (as I did), not to worry. A quick lather with some Dawn dish soap will get it right off.

Flies, what are they good for? Art apparently.

Cute (yet disease infested, I'm sure) scenes made using the bodies of dead flies.

Meat is Sexy.

Got a bunch of raw meat laying around and don't know what to do with it?
Simple. Fashion Show!
